New OLED flexiglass
hey i don't know the release date of this Samsung nor do i know if it is a phone or some hybrid device but i would like some information about is as its fascinating to see a flexible display for a phone or handheld device.

Can anyone tell me the release date or any spoilers on the device?

There is no release date since there is still far too much to work out to make it a working product.

Thanks for the info ranos. anyone know of any cons? All i know is that the ps vitas have the oled screens but have a black backlight glitch that shows small splodges, anyone else know any faults.

that`s not a glitch Smile) it`s just how the pixels are placed
in LCD are placed in line(just like laptop displays.
in amoled they are placed a bit different and have 2 green subpixels. so the layout is bigger than lcd so that`s why you see the spaces easier than on lcd. but since the newer Superamoled they removed the extra pixel
LCD is thicker than Amoled, amoled uses less power, and has better contrast than lcd but lcd manages better in sunlight and has sharper images.
